Komakino formed in Los Angeles around 2014 when Kira Lingman met guitarist Chris Petrossian and drummer Jordan Burke at a music festival. They later added bassist Emily Matsuzaki. Their debut single 'Say Something' came out in 2015.
In 2016 they released a self-titled EP, followed by the album 'Lost' in 2018.
