Kosling

Kosling formed in London around 2007 as a trio with Will Gould, Jehnny Beth from Savages, and Tim Etchells. Their name comes from the German word 'kosen,' which suggests something intimate. They've been described as experimental, working with ambient electronica and elements of rock.

Their first album, 'There's No Other Way,' came out in 2014. A few years later, 'When We Were Young' arrived in 2018, and its title track became widely known. Other songs like 'Moment' and 'Runnin' are also part of their catalog.

Some listeners have found their sound challenging or questioned their use of samples. They've kept at it, though, sticking with their own approach rather than smoothing things out for wider appeal.
