Kreils formed in Argentina around 2005 with Mariano Martinez on vocals and guitar, Rodrigo Velazquez on guitar, Hernan Bolzán on bass, and Federico Segarra on drums. They played a mix of post-punk, indie rock, and alternative metal, with Martinez's vocals giving their sound an emotional edge.
In 2010, they put out the single "Tiempo Feroz," which got some radio play and became their best-known track. They've released a few albums since then, including "Primera Revolución" in 2008, "Culto" in 2012, and "Resplandor" in 2017.
