Kris Delmhorst

Kris Delmhorst started playing guitar and writing songs as a teenager in Burlington, Vermont. Her debut album 'Five' came out in 1999, and she's been releasing records since then. The song 'Arm's Length' from her 2006 album of the same name became one of her better-known tracks.

Her music tends toward the introspective, with songs like 'Bobby Lee' and 'Come Home' showing her interest in storytelling through folk arrangements. She's mentioned Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell as influences, which makes sense given the acoustic foundation of her work.
