Kristina Bach

Kristina Bach was born in Hannover in 1962. She started performing in bands as a teenager and put out her first album, 'Verliebt in die Liebe,' in 1983. Her real break came a few years later with the single 'Alle Sterne Von Athen,' which hit number one in Germany in 1986.

That song's success was complicated by accusations that it borrowed too much from a Greek folk tune. Bach denied it, but the talk stuck around. Her personal life, including a brief marriage to actor Sascha Hehn, also got a lot of attention in the tabloids.

She kept making records through the '90s and 2000s, like 'Bach' in 1990 and 'Die Unschuldigen' in 2002. Other songs like 'Antonio' and 'Caballero Caballero' became part of her catalog. She worked with other German artists too, including Peter Maffay and Udo Jürgens.
