Krokus formed in Solothurn, Switzerland in the mid-1970s with vocalist Marc Storace and guitarist Tommy Kiefer. Their self-titled debut came out in 1975, followed by 'To You All' in 1976 which included the Swiss hit 'Tokyo Nights.' They signed with Intercord Records early on.
Working with producer Tom Allom, who had produced Judas Priest, they recorded 'Metal Rendez-vous' in 1980. That album's single 'Screaming In the Night' became their international breakthrough track. Through the 1980s they released albums like 'One Vice at a Time,' 'Headhunter,' and 'Change of Address.'
They kept touring and recording through the 1990s and 2000s, marking their 40th anniversary in 2013 with a tour and compilation release.
