Krum Bums

The Krum Bums came out of Los Angeles in the late 1970s, with Anthony Veysey up front. Their early shows had a reputation for being raw and sometimes chaotic. The song 'Action City' became something people knew them for.

They put out a debut album called 'No More Heroes' that had 'Action City' on it. Later records included 'Concrete Jungle' and 'City of the Dead'. The lineup shifted over time, with people like Bruce Riley, Tom Jones, and Chris O'Connor playing in the band at different points, and others like Wes Baxter and Ray Carbone joining later.

Their lyrics often dealt with things like alienation and what was happening in cities. They kept playing their kind of punk.
