L Nelson formed in Miami in the early 2000s with Lenny Lobaina on vocals, Nelson Casas on guitar, Andy Perez on bass, and Luis Enrique Miranda on drums. Their first album was called 'Favorita' in 2003, followed by 'Corazón de Acero' in 2005 and 'Reencuentro' in 2010.
Their song 'Favorita' got some radio play and became a dance track people knew. Other songs like 'Hora do Show' and 'Sempre To Ligeiro' kept that same Latin rhythm going.
At some point, the band faced criticism for lyrics about love and social issues, but they kept making music their way. They were a Miami Latin group that put out a few albums and had a couple songs that stuck around.
