A Córdoba band that kept playing through loss, anchored by songs like 'Desde El Cielo'.
For their sound, start with 'Desde El Cielo'. For their attitude, try 'Soy Yo'.
They made rock that felt local and lived-in, not just imported. 'Desde El Cielo' won a Gardel Award and became a genuine hit in Argentina, which doesn't happen often for bands outside Buenos Aires. Their music has that mix of straightforward rock and Latin rhythms that feels natural, not calculated.
They formed in Córdoba in 1998 around Sergio Verdinelli, Alejandro Bustos, and Gustavo Rowek. After Bustos died in 2002, they kept going with Diego Siry on bass, releasing albums like 'Luz' and the award-winning 'Desde El Cielo' in 2006. They've put out five studio albums total, the last one in 2015, and they're still playing shows.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
