La Bohemia formed in Buenos Aires in 2009 with Alejandro Sergi and Leandro Fresco on vocals and guitar, Diego Tuñon on bass, and Nicolás Grimaldi on drums. Their first album came out the following year, and it included the song "Lo Que Siento," which got them some attention. They put out a few more records over the next decade, like Carnaval Intenso in 2012 and Rompecabezas in 2019.
Their music tends to lean into emotional territory, with lyrics about love and loss. "Loba Ardiente" is another one of their tracks that shows that side of their writing. In 2011, they won a Premios Gardel award for Best New Artist, and later picked up another one for Best Pop Album in 2015.
There was a legal dispute over their band name in 2012 that caused some trouble for a while, but they got through it. They kept making music, and their 2016 album Origen went platinum the next year.
