La Factoria Del Sabor brought a fresh, club-ready energy to salsa and tropical rhythms in Puerto Rico. Their debut album's "Como Me Duele" became a chart hit, and songs like "Dejame Vivir" kept them in rotation. They even fought a copyright lawsuit in 2013 to protect their music.
They started playing local clubs and festivals in Puerto Rico before dropping their self-titled debut in 2001. After Jorge left in 2006, the trio kept going with albums like "Todo Fue Un Sueño" and "A Tiempo."
