Laaz Rockit formed in Seattle in 1982, originally called Endless Fear with guitarist Aaron Freeman and bassist Scott Effinger. They changed their name and added drummer Victor Macias and vocalist Michael Coons.
They followed up with "No Stranger to Danger" in 1986 and "Annihilation Principle" in 1988, where their sound leaned a bit more melodic. The song "100 Miles" became a thrash metal favorite. The lineup shifted over time, with Freeman staying constant while Coons left and was replaced by Jeff Isbell, and Macias was succeeded by Mark Hernandez.
Their last studio album, "Nothing is Sacred," arrived in 1991 before they went on hiatus. They were part of that Seattle metal scene in the '80s, and songs like "Bad Blood" and "Brokenhearted" show up in their catalog.
