Lachroed

Lachroed formed in the early 2000s as a trio: Caio Lacerda on vocals, Guilherme Mangiavacchi on guitar, and Mário Contente on drums. Their debut album 'Bugs' came out in 2003, mixing noise-heavy tracks with quieter ambient sections. They followed it with 'Fears' in 2006 and 'The Cage' in 2009.

Their sound pulls from industrial, noise, and ambient music, with Lacerda's vocals often described as haunted or tormented. Songs like 'Calling You,' 'Feel,' and 'Moon River' show their range from abrasive to more introspective moments. The guitar work tends toward dissonance over melody, while the drums keep a steady, hypnotic pulse.

They've maintained a cult following rather than widespread popularity, partly because their music can feel confrontational or difficult to some listeners. They've stuck with their approach without much compromise, which has kept them a consistent presence in underground circles.
