Ladama is an Italian band from Naples formed in the early 2000s by brothers Carlo and Alessandro Rainone. Their debut album "Elo" came out in 2002 and gave them their first real attention. The title track "Elo" became a hit single for them.
Their lyrics sometimes touched on social and political topics, which drew both praise and criticism. They worked with Italian singer Fiorella Mannoia on the 2008 album "L'altra metà ," which included a duet of the same name.
Musically, they moved from a pop-rock sound on early records like "Mondovisione" toward more electronic and experimental territory on later albums such as "Analogico Digitale" and "Elettronico." Carlo's vocals and Alessandro's songwriting remained central through these shifts.
