Lady Rudy

Lady Rudy is an indie pop band that started putting out music in the early 2010s. Their sound leans toward the atmospheric side, often described as ethereal folk. The band's name comes from a childhood nickname belonging to their frontwoman, Rudy Perkins, who handles vocals and guitar. Ethan James plays bass and adds vocal harmonies, while Oliver Bell is on drums.

Their debut album, 'Float Away,' came out in 2014 and gave the band its first real attention. The title track from that record became their most recognizable song. They followed it with 'Reverie' in 2016 and 'Ember' in 2018. The music tends to be introspective, dealing with themes like loss and longing.
