LAIATTO formed around vocalist Kyoko and producer Misato, who shared an interest in melancholic melodies and experimental sounds. Their song 'At Midnight Club' became their most recognizable track, though early on some critics found their music too dark or niche.

Their debut album was called 'Midnight Symphony,' and they later released 'Dreamer's Waltz' and 'Nocturnal Reverie.' The band's core included songwriter Yuuki alongside Kyoko and Misato, with Kyoko's vocals and Misato's production creating their atmospheric sound. Other songs in their catalog include 'Another Dark Hour,' 'Back To Blue,' and 'Cigarettes and Our Love Story.'

They developed a following drawn to their nocturnal themes and ethereal arrangements. While their time in the spotlight was relatively brief, songs like 'At Midnight Club' and 'Dope' maintained a presence among listeners who connected with their particular mood.
