Lamparim formed in Salvador, Bahia in 1994, with Marcos Vinícius on vocals and guitar. Their debut album 'O Que Você Quer Saber?' came out in 1996 and included the song 'Bem,' which became a hit in Brazil. They recorded other albums like 'Lamparim ao Vivo' in 1999 and 'O Grande Baile' in 2001.
In 1998, the band was involved in a legal dispute over the use of 'Bem' in a television commercial. Their songs include 'Terra À Vista' and 'Mundo Suicida.' The group's lineup has included Antonio Carlos on bass, Ricardo Palmeira on drums, and Junior Almeida on keyboards.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
