Lamune formed in Osaka in 2004 as a Japanese pop-rock band. They became known for anime theme songs, particularly "Lamune-iro no me," which served as the opening for the series "Yumeria." Their debut album, also called "Lamune," came out in 2005.
In 2009, guitarist Ryota Sugiyama was arrested for marijuana possession, which led to some concert cancellations. The band took a break before returning in 2015 with the album "Rebirth." They've released other albums since, including "Embrace" in 2017 and "Origin" in 2019.
Their songs include "Lamune-iro no me - Abertura" and "Summer Vacation - Encerramento." The band's lineup featured Airi Sakamoto on vocals, Sugiyama on guitar, Makoto Shirahata on bass, and Yuta Ogawa on drums.
