Land Ho! formed in New York City in the early 2000s as a four-piece rock band. The group included Rob Watts on vocals and guitar, John Toohill on guitar, KC Corcoran on bass, and Mike Watt on drums. They put out their first EP, 'Dirty Old Town,' in 2004.
Their 2006 album 'God Money War' featured the track 'Hard Fucking Rock,' which became something of an underground favorite. The band kept releasing records through the 2000s and 2010s, including 'Black Circle' in 2008 and 'Hag' in 2014. Their live shows were known for being loud and energetic.
