Langolier formed in Bogotá, Colombia in 2004. They play a mix of alternative rock with psychedelic touches and ethereal harmonies. The band includes vocalist and guitarist Juan Carlos Pimiento, bassist Manuel Gamboa, drummer Felipe Alvarez, and keyboardist Mario Muñoz.
Their debut album 'El Fin de los Tiempos' came out in 2006 and included the song 'Rockola.' In 2008, their album 'Dial' faced bans in some countries because of its cover art showing a nude woman.
They've kept making music that leans into atmospheric textures and layered arrangements. The sound tends to be more about mood and space than straightforward rock anthems.
