Lanoire

Lanoire formed around 2005 when Swedish singer Karin Park began working with Danish producer Martin Bjerre. They released their debut album 'Astral Forces' the following year, with the title track becoming their most recognizable song. The band's lineup has included bassist Rasmus Rasmussen and drummer Jesper Falk alongside Park and Bjerre.

Park's vocals and lyrics give Lanoire much of its character. Her singing floats over the group's electronic textures and atmospheric arrangements, creating the kind of sound that made 'Astral Forces' stand out. The music doesn't fit neatly into one genre, drawing from electronic production and more ambient, folk-tinged melodies.

They've kept a fairly steady presence since that first album, though they've never been a mainstream act. Their work tends to appeal to listeners drawn to moodier, more introspective music rather than pop hooks or dance beats.
