When will I wake up from this dream

I know this can’t be real

Or is my whole life gone

Please God, take me instead

Now why do you take everything

That is dear to me

Just to drown me in guilt

Have you come to the point when you lose it all

My life has reached its bottom point

I have nothing left

All that I love is gone

Didn’t I try hard enough

Is this the end, the final act

Before the curtain falls

Will all this come to an end

The play that’s called my life
