LARINHX is a Brazilian funk band that started in 2010 with four members: vocalist Gabriel Aragão, bassist Lucas Vinicius, drummer Thiago Simplicio, and percussionist Rodrigo Oliveira. Their early work mixed funk, samba, and hip-hop, leading to a debut single in 2016 called 'Camisa 10' featuring Ikinya, Mangolab, and Ebony. That track helped them gain attention in Brazil.
Their music includes songs like 'Oompa Loompa' with slipmami and 'LSD', which carry their rhythmic style. They've faced some criticism for explicit lyrics that touch on social issues, but they've kept releasing material, such as the 2019 album 'Salve o Funk' with Gaab and Mc Cabelinho.
Over time, LARINHX has put out other tracks like 'Espumante' with MC Taya and 'Garotas Amam MC Rebecca' with Slain, staying active in the funk scene without much fanfare about their status.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
