Las Sexpeares

Las Sexpeares formed in the late 1990s with Marinah on vocals, Patrizia on guitar, Silvia on bass, and Laia on drums. Their 1999 album Q.a.d.g. included the title track, which became their most recognizable song.

Their lyrics often dealt with direct themes of sexuality and female experience, which sometimes drew criticism from conservative corners. The band kept playing through that, releasing albums like Es difícil ser mujer in 2001 and El mundo se va a acabar in 2003.

They put out a compilation called Nosotras in 2006. The song Q.a.d.g. stayed in their setlists, a straightforward ballad about goodbyes that connected with their audience.
