Laura Tereza came up in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where she sang in a local choir as a teenager. Her debut album, also called 'Meu Sonho,' came out in the early 2000s. The title track became her most recognizable song.
She's kept writing and recording for about twenty years now, moving from the sound of that first record into more experimental territory. Some of her lyrics have drawn criticism from conservative corners, but she's generally kept working on her own terms.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
