Lauren formed in 2010 around vocalist Fernanda Brum, with musicians Reinaldo Barriga on guitar, Samuel Mizrahy on keyboards, Bruno Oliveira on drums, and Romulo Soares on bass. They released a self-titled debut album while touring heavily in their early years, developing a sound that mixed pop, rock, and Brazilian rhythms.
In 2015, their album 'Esperança' included the song 'Amar-te É Felicidade,' which became widely popular in Brazil. They followed with albums 'Identidade' in 2017 and 'Cores' in 2019. Other songs like 'Havemos de Ir a Viana' and 'Não Me Julgues' also appear in their catalog.
Fernanda Brum's public comments on social and political topics have drawn attention alongside the band's music.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
