Lauren Duski grew up in Tennessee, where she started performing at local festivals. In 2015, she signed with Mercury Nashville. Her debut single "My Last Name" got some attention, and she followed it with a self-titled album in 2018.
Songs like "I Would For You" and "Deja Vu" show her leaning toward straightforward country ballads. She's been open about facing sexism in the industry, which has made her a more outspoken figure than some of her peers.
Her second album came out in 2020, and she's kept writing in that same vein since then.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
