If I told you I thought you were the son of God

You were waiting for you on a cloud somewhere

But it wasn’t your fault if no one could follow you there

Like you were in on the joke

And if you bowed out now, I know you know you’d be missed

He unraveled himself all in the name of art

With a voice from the bottom of everybody else’s hearts
