Archive material and source history

Laye is a duo from London made up of Paul Alexander and Sam Morris. They started playing in clubs around the city's electronic scene, putting out music that leaned toward the atmospheric side of things.

In 2013 they released "Goldfinger," a track built around a haunting melody and layered synths. A couple years later, Frank Walker's remix of that song caught on and became widely played. That version, "Goldfinger (Frank Walker Remix)," is still what most people know them by.

They've also put out other songs like "No Love Lost" and "Sicker." After the remix took off, they toured and played shows internationally.
