L.D. Ross formed in Los Angeles in the late 1990s, with singer-songwriter Larry Dorman and guitarist Ross Carter at the center. Their song 'Your Only Lover' became their breakthrough single, a ballad that found an audience and helped establish them. They released their debut album 'Into the Light' in 1999.
The band took a break in the early 2000s but reunited in 2005. Their later albums included 'Redemption' in 2007 and 'Echoes of the Past' in 2018. Dorman's voice and Carter's guitar work were the main elements of their sound, which mixed pop, rock, and soul influences.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
