Le Matos formed in 2010 as a trio of Erwan Valazza, Louis Warynski, and Simon Chevry in Paris. Their sound pulls from techno and industrial elements, with a raw edge that found an audience in the city's underground scene.
Their 2012 album 'I Am the Night' established their dark, atmospheric approach to electronica. They followed it with 'The Great Depression' in 2014 and 'No Future' in 2019, which moved into more experimental territory.
One of their tracks, 'No Tomorrow,' drew attention for its bleak portrayal of urban life.
