Le Shok formed in the early 1980s in Paris, drawing from horror films and heavy metal. They played in dimly lit clubs and underground festivals, gradually building a cult following with raw stage performances.
Their debut album was called "122 Hours of Fear," which featured pulsating rhythms and eerie vocals. Other songs from their catalog include "Blend The Quick With The Slow" and "Fade In Fade Out."
The band's core members included Jean-Marc Peralo on vocals, Patrick Trembleau on synthesizers, Francis Donatien on guitar, and Karl Duquesnoy on bass.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
