The group includes guitarist Javier Ricardo, bassist Carlos Andrés Sánchez, drummer Mateo González, and percussionist Luis Guillermo Márquez. They work with cumbia, vallenato, and champeta rhythms.
Their debut album, 'Entre Choros y Hechizos,' came out in 2018. That title track became a single that helped them reach a wider audience in Colombia. They followed it with 'El Baile de los Tambó' in 2019 and 'La Fiesta en el Barrio' in 2021.
Some traditionalists initially questioned their approach to blending genres. The band kept at it, and songs like 'Vale Copete' show their mix of those coastal rhythms with modern production.
