She kept recording through it, putting out albums like 'Quilombo' in 1975 and 'Zé do Caroço' in 1977. Her band typically included guitarist Carlinhos 7 Cordas, bassist Jorge Simas, and percussionist Vado.
By the early 1980s she had released 'Raiz' and later 'Semente da Terra,' continuing to work with themes of resistance. The song 'Esperança' appears among her notable tracks. She recorded more than twenty albums over her career.
