Lee Byung Hun

Lee Byung Hun started making music in Seoul in the late 1990s, forming the group Soulciety and putting out his first album, 'The First Episode,' in 2000. He was listening to American rappers like Nas and Jay-Z at the time, and that came through in his own work.

In 2004, he had his biggest moment with the song 'Noon Mool,' a collaboration with MC Sniper. The track's moody feel and mix of hip-hop and R&B caught on in Korea. His lyrics often touched on personal and social themes, which sometimes drew attention beyond the music itself.

He kept releasing albums through the 2000s, including 'Soulciety' in 2005 and 'The Last Time' in 2007. His music involved other artists from the Soulciety circle, like Sleepy and Mithra Jin, but it was usually his name on the records.
