In 2018, she was involved in dating rumors with fellow idol Jeong Sewoon, which were later denied. Lovelyz originally had eight members, but as of 2023, only BabySoul, Mijoo, Kei, and Jin remain active in the group.
BabySoul has dealt with vocal cord nodules, a condition that required surgery and affected her vocal range. She returned to performing afterward. Other songs in her catalog include "Cosmos" and "Warmth of Love."
