Leed formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s with vocalist Rodrigo Lima, guitarists Angelo Areias and Luis Mariutti, bassist Bruno Boccuzzi, and drummer Leonardo Bacci. Lima and Areias have been the consistent members through various lineup changes. Their sound pulls from traditional heavy metal, thrash, and progressive rock.
In 2007, their album 'Vou Tocar O Terror' drew criticism from religious groups for its lyrics and imagery. The band stood by the work, and the attention reinforced their reputation for tackling difficult subjects.
They've released several albums including 'Vou Tocar O Terror' (2007), 'Um Novo Sol' (2009), 'Cosmos' (2011), 'O Reino das Sombras' (2013), 'O Último Julgamento' (2015), 'A Chave do Enigma' (2017), and 'Espectra' (2019).
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
