Background notes

Archive material and source history

Left-Handed Customer formed in Liverpool in the early 1990s. Their debut album 'Wake Up Tonight' came out in 1994, followed by 'Mastery of the Universe' in 1995 and 'Further Education' in 1997. The band's lineup included Nick McCabe on guitar, Jem Archer handling guitar and vocals, Dan Foord on bass, and Andy Picton on drums.

They released two more albums, 'Worlds Apart' in 1999 and 'The Times of Our Lives' in 2003, before disbanding that same year. Their music had a guitar-driven sound that fit within the alternative rock scene of that period.
