Leftover Cuties

Leftover Cuties formed around singer Rebecca Taylor and guitarist Chris Smith, who shared an interest in folk and experimental music. They started playing small venues in London, working out their sound before gaining wider attention.

In 2017, their song "Clarity" became their breakout track. It's a quiet, atmospheric piece that features Taylor's voice over sparse instrumentation. The song appeared on their 2018 album "The Haunted House," which was followed by "Asleep in the Daylight" in 2021.

Other songs like "Game Called Life" and "Places to Go" show a similar style, melodic, introspective, and built around Taylor's vocals. They've kept a fairly low profile since their albums came out, without much of the dramatic career arc that earlier bios sometimes suggested.
