They followed it with records like "Viagem Astral" in 1988 and "Ao Vivo no Circo Voador" in 1990, building a catalog that stretched into the 2000s with albums such as "Conexão Bahia Jamaica" and "Lei Di Dai 25 Anos."
Some religious figures in Brazil took issue with their use of Rastafarian language, particularly the word "Jah." The band kept playing anyway, and songs like "Sem Competição" showed their steady approach to reggae that spoke to their audience without chasing trends.
