Leidy Moon formed in Bogotá in 2017 with vocalist Leidy Luna, guitarist Daniel Ortiz, bassist Andres Torres, and drummer Juan Carlos Chavarro. Their debut EP 'Sueños' came out the following year. The band's 2020 single 'Bésame (part. Elvis Gonzalez)' with singer-songwriter Elvis Gonzalez became a hit, though it drew some accusations of plagiarism that the group addressed directly.

Their first full album 'Alma Pura' arrived in 2021, followed by the EP 'Renacer' in 2022 and the single 'Volver a Empezar' in 2023. Other songs include 'En La Soledad', 'Hazme Sentir', 'Prometí Amarte', and 'Se Acabó El Amor'.
