Lemmings formed in San Fernando, Buenos Aires in the mid-1980s. Their debut album "Bajo el Sol de la Mañana" came out in 1986, and the title track became an early hit. The following year's "A La Espera" included songs like "Ahora" and "De Nuevo" that helped build their audience.
Sergio "El Flaco" Pángaro sang and played guitar for the band. They put out "Perplejo" in 1989, then added guitarist Claudio Cornejo before recording "El Último Romance" in 1992. That album showed a shift toward more polished arrangements and introspective lyrics.
Later songs like "Insomnio" and "Lemmings Style" continued their blend of melodic rock with thoughtful writing. The band released several more albums through the 1990s and 2000s, including "La Lengua" in 1995 and "El Fin del Silencio" in 2008.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
