Leon Jean Marie formed in France in the early 2000s with Marie-Laure Garnier on vocals and guitar, Jean-Philippe Rochat also on vocals and guitar, Léonard Roux on bass, and Jean-Marie Ecay on drums. Their 2004 album 'Bring It On' gave them their first real attention, with the title track becoming something of an anthem.
They put out a few more records after that, like 'Lost in the Waves' in 2006 and 'The World Is Ours' in 2010. There was some noise in 2007 about a song sounding too much like something by The Cure, but it didn't stick. They kept playing shows, and songs like 'Trusted You' showed up in their later work.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
