Leonardo Aguilar comes from a family with deep roots in Mexican regional music. His father is singer-songwriter Pepe Aguilar, and he grew up around that tradition. He released his first album, 'Leonardo Aguilar: Nueva Tradición,' in 2012 when he was thirteen.
His later albums include 'Gallo Fino' in 2016, 'Avioncito de Papel' in 2018, and 'Mexicano Enamorado' in 2020. In 2021, he recorded 'Lo Busqué' with his sisters Ángela and Majo Aguilar. That song became a hit in Mexico and the United States.
He has also released tracks like 'Tu Méndigo Recuerdo' and 'Una y Mil Razones.'
