Leonardo Duarte is a Brazilian Christian musician whose song 'Salmo 121' became widely known in 2016. That track, along with others like 'Salmo 23' and 'Curado Eu Serei,' helped establish his presence in contemporary worship music. He released his debut album 'Som do Céu' that same year.
His music draws from Pentecostal church traditions and shows some influence from Brazilian worship artists like André Valadão and Fernandinho. The live recording 'Salmo 121 - Ao Vivo' came out in 2019, followed by the album 'Vencedor' in 2021. Songs such as 'Minha Vida É Te Adorar' and 'Aleluia' continue in the same vein of straightforward worship material.
Duarte performs with a band that includes guitarist Fabio Duarte and backing vocalist Paola Duarte, among others.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
