Leonardo Peres is a Brazilian Christian music artist from Curitiba. His song "Não Há Deus Maior" became widely known after appearing on his 2012 debut album Deus é Maior.
In 2014, another Christian artist accused Peres of plagiarism, though he denied the claim and was eventually cleared. Three years later, some fans and fellow musicians criticized his public support for conservative causes and his statements about LGBTQ+ rights.
Peres has continued releasing albums, including Caminho in 2017, Fé in 2019, and Essência in 2021.
