Leonice Neves grew up in Coronel Fabriciano, a small town in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Her family was devoutly Christian, and she was exposed to traditional gospel hymns and local church music from an early age.
In 1994, she joined the group Diante do Trono as a vocalist. She appeared on albums like "Águas Purificadoras" and "Shalom Jerusalém" with them. Her solo career began in 2007 with the album "De Coração Pra Coração." Two years later, she released "Glórias," which included the song "A Glória de Deus." That track became widely known in Brazilian Christian music circles.
Other songs in her catalog include "Adoração," "Amor Sem Fim," "Deus Presente," and "Espirito Santo."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
