Leonore O'Malley came up in rural Ireland, where Celtic folk traditions shaped her early musical sense. She released her debut album 'First Be a Woman' in 2017, with the title track becoming something of an anthem. That album got her noticed internationally.
Her band includes Eamon Murray on guitar and vocals, Conor McCreanor on bass, and Shane McGrath on drums. She's put out a few more albums since then, like 'Heartland' in 2019 and 'The Wild Blue Yonder' in 2021.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
