Their first album came out the following year, and they became known for songs like 'Alucinação' and 'Antissocial' that had a certain surreal quality to them.
Their music sometimes drew criticism from more conservative parts of Brazilian society, and they faced protests and censorship at times. They kept writing anyway, often about politics and social issues. The duo released several albums in the late 1960s and early 1970s, including 'Fantástico' in 1970 and 'Saudade' in 1971.
Later on, their band included musicians like Ruy Faria on bass and Victor Biglione on drums. Their catalog also includes tracks such as 'Aquela Que Corta a Cidade' and 'Bêbado, Rouco e Louco'.
