Les Trois Accords formed in Montreal in the late 1990s as a trio with Simon Proulx, Pierre-Luc Dupuis, and Alexandre Parr. Their debut album "Gros Mammouth Album" came out in 2003. Songs like "Grand Champion International de Course" and "Auto-cannibal" show their mix of punk energy and sharp lyrics.
They've sometimes drawn attention for provocative material. The track "Auto-cannibal" from 2005 led to some debate about its content, which the band described as satire. They kept putting out records like "Grand Champion" in 2006 and "Joie d'être gai" in 2015.
Other songs in their catalog include "Chien pas fin," "Personne Préférée," and "Bamboula." They released "L'Amérique pleure" in 2018 and "666" in 2021.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
